American football, a sport popular across the Atlantic, but little known in France.

Only known American Football, the sport is often compared to rugby in France. Yet these two sports are similar in that the contact between the players and the shape of the ball. Sports ball and collective struggle, American football is above all a great game of chess between two teams. Indeed, after a match is not based primarily on the physical capacities, but especially on the strategies adopted by each team. This is the most practiced sport in the USA, and the favorite sport of Americans (ahead of basketball and baseball). However, there are in France less than 15 000 licenses (in counting the flag football and cheerleadering), while the sport deserves to be known. There were teams in France, which are divided into three divisions. Some even participate in European championships as Flash de la Courneuve (Champion title since 2005 and on track to be declared champion in 2009). The French teams are recruiting, so why not sign up next season! For those that are interested, the final of the First Division will probably take place on 20/06/2009, at Charlety (13th) and entry is free.
