Football: The District provides the final whistle

Licensing down slightly. The figure is sufficiently rare to be underlined. The number of graduates in the department increased to 21 304 is down 1% from last season. In terms of players, the former Château-Gontier is still the biggest club in the department (509). Bonchamp (439) passed by the U.S. Change (411). However, there is one teacher for 46 graduate players.

Arbitration. At the end of the rankings produced by the National Board of Arbitration, the Mayenne Nicolas Pottier finishes 2nd place at the referees Assistant Federal 1. This classification should allow him an appointment as arbitrator International in September. The day of the arbitration will be held on 10 October 2009. All categories, 3 792 cases of discipline were treated (265 evictions), the District pocketing € 60 000 in passing.

New season. Subject to possible changes, the championship will resume on 13 September 2009, one week after the 1st round of the Cup of Maine. Few differences from last season then. The changes are not in categories. The project of the DTN, Gérard Houiller, voted on March 14, will be applied at the beginning. The new categories will be based on evolution education. The categories of young people will therefore U7 (under 7) to U19 (under 19), while the senior and veteran categories remain unchanged.

Running. The President of the District, Alain Houdayer, acknowledges: "Administrative season was not easy." For the new steering committee, it was a year of running, and they will better their role as first link between clubs and the League. Later appointments Pelouin Gérard, Stade Laval, was elected to the Steering Committee. Emmanuel Chiranian became the Chief of the District.
